rBC2LCN (AiLecS1) is a recombinant lectin expressed in E coli that corresponds to the N-terminal domain of BC2LCN derived from Burkholderia cenocepacia. rBC2LCN binds specifically to Fuc α1-2Gal β1-3GlcNAc containing glycans and has been shown to be a marker of undifferentiated human iPS and ES cells. rBC2LCN Stripping Solution is designed to remove bound lectin that has been used to identify undifferentiated cells by either live cell imaging or fixed cell staining. Cells are incubated for 30 min in the stripping solution to remove rBC2LCN, after which cells can be stained with another antibody and in the case of living cells cultivation can continue as before.
