We’re proud to announce that we are now official corporate partners with Bowel Cancer UK, building on years of collaboration through initiatives like Active April and our longstanding support of national screening programmes.

We are excited to continue supporting the amazing work Bowel Cancer UK does in raising awareness, advancing early diagnosis, and offering vital support to everyone affected by bowel cancer.

The REACH Social Foundation works to change the societal perception of people who are living with a learning disability and Autism. This perception is influenced by single-lensed media and lack of opportunity which skews behaviours and lowers expectations of what individuals can accomplish. The foundation works to increase confidence, self-value and independence through the building of employability skills, manual skills, and raising public awareness. Whether it's employment people go onto pursue or through the amazing projects and items that are produced at the foundation, REACH is about changing the mindset of society and ensuring everyone has an opportunity to follow their passions.

Alpha Laboratories are excited to support the REACH Social Foundation through our partnership and are excited to help support the growth of this amazing cause.

Eastleigh Basics Bank

Within the month of December during the last couple years, Alpha staff were encouraged to make a voluntary donation of tinned or dry goods and toiletries to Eastleigh Basics bank – a reverse Advent Calendar – giving rather than receiving. Alpha matched all donated items from staff, doubling the donation.

Due to the rise in costs for food and essential amenities, Eastleigh Basics bank has seen a large increase in demand over the years - We are delighted to deliver a number of boxes to them and help where we can!

Mike Runs the Marathon for Mind

A huge congratulations to Mike Godley, one of our Key Account Managers, for running the London Marathon with an incredible time of 4:29:37! What a fantastic achievement.

Mike ran the Marathon to raise money for Mind, and raised over £1000!

Alpha understands that employees are a vital part of their communities, and these may not always be represented in the community work Alpha do. These organisations may often have limited resources for fundraising or to request external support. Therefore, Alpha has established a donation scheme where employees are entitled to nominate one chosen charity or organisation of their choice for a company donation per year.

We look to reach and support as many communities as we can, especially those of our staff. So far successful nominations have included;

-        Local football clubs

-        Coastal watch organisations

-        Care homes

-        Wildlife and animal charities

-        National charities

We are delighted by the range of organisations we have supported so far and are excited to continue supporting our staff and their communities.
