Faecal calprotectin extraction device BÜHLMANN CALEX® Cap pre-filled with buffer, for preparation of faecal samples. Box of 500
Product code: B-CALEX-C500
Product Information
Sampling method:
The white cap is removed by twisting clockwise and pulling up
Dip the sample pin into the stool and twist before removing; repeat 3-5 times in different places in the stool
Return the sampling pin to the tube and press firmly down - you will feel and hear two clicks as it locks into place
The sample pin, and collar on the tube ensures a precise amount of stool sample is placed into the buffer without the requirement for weighing.
The white cap is designed to be removed and locked into place only once.
Vortex the CALEX with the white cap down so that the stool sample is removed from the pin and into the buffer before processing further
The CALEX® Cap device can be loaded directly onto many automated ELISA processors and clinical chemistry analysers without the need to decant or dilute the sample.
There is excellent correlation with the gold standard weighing method.
Samples are stable for up to:
7 days at ambient
15 days at 2-8C
23 motnhs at -20C
Each box contains 500 tubes
