ALBA products originated from the Scottish National Blood Transfusion Service, and has been manufacturing blood typing reagents since the early 1940’s.

With an advanced, UK based, FDA approved, GMP, manufacturing plant, it progresses development in automated processes and increased capacity through investment in continuous bioreactor systems. Expertise of nearly 200 highly trained staff provides an extensive range of monoclonal antibodies alongside access to red cells and plasma.
