Cell-Free DNA BCT®
Stabilise Blood Samples for Downstream Processing
Streck Cell-Free DNA BCT® tubes are direct-draw vacuum blood collection tubes containing a preservative reagent that limits the release of genomic DNA. They allow for isolation of high-quality cell-free DNA, and minimise the degradation of circulating tumor cells (CTCs).
Cell-Free DNA BCT eliminates the need for immediate plasma isolation and CTC processing, easing concerns about pre-analytical variation that arises during shipping and handling.
Cold Chain Free – Transport Samples at Room Temperature

Applications
Cell-Free DNA BCT uniquely stabilises nucleated blood cells and prevents the release of genomic DNA. This enables isolation of high-quality cell-free DNA which can be further used for a wide range of downstream applications in clinical research studies, drug discovery and diagnostic assay development (e.g. non-invasive prenatal testing, NIPT; and liquid biopsies). It has also been demonstrated to minimise the degradation of CTCs.
