UTS™ Urine Testing System

Rethink Urinalysis - Redefining Precision at the Point of Care

Introducing the world’s first digital urine testing system that is completely free from dipstick testing. Providing accurate, reproducible results to support clinical decision making, and improve workflow.

The new digital standard for urine testing that delivers fast, Right First Time™ urinalysis results at point of care.

Available in the UK from Alpha Laboratories, UTS™ streamlines the process, providing accurate and reliable results for healthcare professionals.

Its advanced technology ensures precise results and empowers informed decision-making. Not only does it enhance clinical outcomes, but it also optimises resource allocation, reducing costs.

Each push-fit UTS-10 Cap single-use testing cap contain the essential reagent pads for 10 test parameters: Leukocytes, Nitrite, Urobilinogen, Protein, pH, Blood, Specific Gravity, Ketone, Bilirubin and Glucose.

Experience the connected power of the UTS™ system, where simplicity and accuracy come together to redefine urine testing at the point of care in healthcare.

Applications

The Urine Testing System (UTS), from Clinical Design Technologies, provides precision point of care urinalysis with results available in 90 seconds. The system is easy to use, and urine is contained in an enclosed system to maintain hygiene. Rapid and accurate point of care testing supports efficient patient management through reduced need for expensive and time-consuming laboratory confirmations, while empowering HCPs to manage their patients appropriately and quickly.

True point of care testing is afforded by the system being easily portable and having a 10-hour battery life. The analyser is compatible with POC readers, and middleware allows results to be uploaded to LIMS/EPR.

Importantly, UTS eliminates dipstick inconsistencies, whether read manually or electronically. The Test Cap prevents contamination from drips and guarantees full reagent exposure for accurate testing. The hermetic packaging minimises degradation of test pads, reducing false results. Automation assures correct test timing and reduces subjectivity in result reading. All together, this minimises wastage from repeat testing, streamlines workflow and frees-up HCP time.
