Paddle Pastettes

Paddle Pastettes have an additional paddle on top of the bulb which can be used for mixing.

They are ideal for use with latex agglutination tests, pregnancy tests and blood grouping cards.

Applications

Paddle Pastettes® achieve two functions from a single pipette. They have the same bulb and stem for aspirating and dispensing as other types of Pastette, but also have an additional paddle on top of the bulb which can be used for mixing.

Useful for dispensing and mixing applications, and popular with diagnostic kit manufacturers. They are ideal for use in home test kits by unskilled users and for latex agglutination tests, pregnancy tests and blood grouping cards, and also for plant tissue culture applications.

Two functions, one Pastette® Paddle Pastettes allow you to dispense reagents onto slides followed by mixing using the opposite end of the Pastette®.

They are available in two drop sizes, Standard - drop volume of 50µl and Ultra Fine Tip - drop volume of 25µl.

Standard Paddle Pastettes are non-sterile Pasteur or plastic pipettes which are useful for dispensing and mixing applications and popular with diagnostic kit manufacturers. Paddle pipettes allow you to dispense reagents onto slides, followed by mixing using the opposite end of the Pastette.

Paddle Ultra Fine Tip Pastette

Ultra Fine Tip Paddle Pastettes are non-sterile Pasteur or plastic pipettes which are useful for dispensing and mixing applications and popular with diagnostic kit manufacturers. Ultra Fine Tip Paddle pipettes have the smallest drop volume and allow you to accurately dispense reagents onto slides, followed by mixing using the opposite end of the Pastette.

They are perfect for latex agglutination, pregnancy tests and blood grouping cards.

Paddle pipettes (LW4292 and LW4295) were initially developed for latex testing and other serological card type tests where a sample needs to be added and then mixed with a reagent. Paddle pipettes are now more commonly used for plant tissue culture applications.
