PillowPac² for use with Faecal Immunochemical Test sample returns, specifically designed for Bowel Screening Programmes. The revised model offers improved compatibility with automated opening solutions.

Specifically designed for FIT sample collection devices, these slim, light-weight mailers offer a robust and easy-to-use logistics solution for your bowel screening service. It is designed to lay flat in the outbound pack to the patient to keep postage costs down, then when the sample is ready for return, the pack is squeezed and pops up allowing the tube to be easily placed into the pack. The pack is then sealed shut using a self-seal system and used as a return envelope to the lab for testing. It also contains a fixed strip of absorbent material for any contamination or leakage.

A useful feature of the design is that when the pack has been popped up, there are internal flaps that come into place to hold the tube in the middle of the pack. This ensures easy opening of the device be it by scissors, or a fully automated opening solution.
